Description

In Monumental, you'll guide your civilization through the ages, building a thriving city and conquering new territories. Your city is made up of a grid of cards, each representing a different building or technology that can be activated to gather resources like science, military, production, culture, and gold. The catch is that you can't activate all your cards at once, so you'll need to make tough choices each turn to decide which ones to prioritize. As you gather resources, you'll be able to acquire new cards from a common pool, upgrading your civilization and unlocking more efficient combinations. You'll also send your army out to conquer provinces on a modular board, defeating barbarians and earning victory points. With a playtime of 90 to 120 minutes, Monumental is a game of strategy and planning, where the player with the most impressive civilization at the end will be declared the winner.
