Description

A Line in the Sand: The Battle of Iraq is a game that drops you into the midst of the Persian Gulf War, where military might and diplomatic savvy are equally crucial to success. With two to six players taking on the roles of various Middle Eastern nations and the US, the game offers a unique blend of area movement, dice rolling, and negotiation. In the basic game, players clash in a straightforward battle for dominance, but things get really interesting in the six-player diplomatic game, where alliances are forged and broken, and the intricacies of international politics come into play. As players navigate the complex web of alliances and rivalries, they must balance their military objectives with the need to manage "War Fever" and "Jihad" markers, which can trigger revolutions and shift the balance of power. With each player's objectives hidden, the game becomes a thrilling test of strategic thinking and diplomatic maneuvering, where the line between victory and defeat is constantly shifting.
