Description

Diplomacy is a classic board game of negotiation and strategy, where 2 to 7 players take on the roles of the Great Powers of Europe in the years leading up to World War I. Each player must navigate the complex web of alliances and rivalries, making deals and negotiating with other players to expand their borders and achieve success. The game is known for its simple yet effective movement mechanism, where players write orders for their military units, and the outcome is determined by the total strength of the units involved. With no elements of chance, such as dice rolls, Diplomacy is a game of pure strategy and negotiation, where players must use their skills of persuasion and cunning to outmaneuver their opponents. First published in 1959, Diplomacy has stood the test of time, and its unique blend of negotiation and area control has made it a beloved game among gamers, with a playtime of 360 minutes that will keep you engaged and invested in the outcome.
