Description
In Wizard's Gambit, you'll embark on a magical adventure with 2 to 5 friends, competing to become the most powerful wizard of all. This easy-to-learn game is perfect for casual gamers and families, with a playtime of just 45 minutes. As a wizard, you'll take turns placing Magical Components on Spells in a shared pool, racing to complete them and add them to your Spell Book. When you complete a Spell, you get to claim it and immediately use its effects to gain an edge over your opponents. As you cast Spells and collect Magical Components, you can also use Incantation cards to influence the game and outmaneuver your fellow wizards. But beware - your opponents can invoke the Wizard's Gambit to thwart your plans and snatch powerful Spells from under your nose. The goal is to accumulate 10 points worth of Spells in your Spell Book, and the first wizard to reach this total is declared the Grand Siege Magus. With its light-hearted gameplay and fantasy theme, Wizard's Gambit is a great way to spend a fun evening with friends and family, and its simple rules make it easy for new players to jump in and start playing.
