Abstract Strategy
Description
In Senshi, you're a warrior-monk training to become the next master of the temple. With the current master ailing, it's up to you and your fellow students to prove your worth by developing four key attributes: strength, agility, wisdom, and honor. This abstract strategy game is all about carefully manipulating stacks of tiles to build up your attributes and outmaneuver your opponents. With simple rules to learn, Senshi is a game that's easy to pick up but challenging to master. Players take turns choosing from three actions: study, train, or test, all while keeping a close eye on their opponents' moves. The goal is to build the tallest scoring pile in any of the four attributes, while also making sure you don't have the shortest pile, which would eliminate you from the game. With playtime lasting just 15 to 20 minutes, Senshi is a quick and thrilling game for 2 to 4 players.
