Description
In the two-player game Mandala, you're trying to outscore your opponent by collecting valuable cards, but the twist is that you won't know which cards are valuable until well into the game. Players take turns playing colored cards into two mandalas, building the central shared mountains and laying cards into their own fields. As the game progresses, the mandalas are completed and then destroyed, with players claiming cards and adding them to their river and cup. The goal is to have the most valuable cup at the end of the game, with card values determined by their position in your river. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 20 minutes, Mandala is a quick and strategic game that's perfect for abstract strategy fans. Designed by Trevor Benjamin and Brett J. Gilbert, Mandala was published in 2019 and has become a favorite among players looking for a challenging and fun experience.
