Description

In Rats of Wistar, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure as one of four rats who have escaped from a lab, vying to prove yourself as the most deserving leader of the entire colony. With your extraordinary skills, you'll explore the Farm, scavenge for artifacts, and create new inventions to expand your lair under the trees. As you dig new rooms and build new beds, you'll also encounter native rats and mice who can join your family, and you might even pay a visit to the Alchemist mouse to gain an extra advantage. The game is designed for 1 to 4 players and takes about 90 minutes to play, with rules of normal complexity that should be easy to learn for anyone familiar with board games. As you navigate the game, which takes place over five rounds, you'll earn victory points by building beds, excavating rooms, solving missions within the Farm, welcoming host mice, building new inventions, and claiming achievements. The player with the most victory points at the end of the game wins, with the player furthest in the turn order breaking any ties.
