Description

In Biblios, you're an abbot of a medieval monastery, competing to build the greatest library of sacred books. With a limited supply of donated gold, you'll need to strategically acquire workers and resources to run a well-functioning scriptorium. The goal is to score the most Victory Points by winning categories like Illuminators, Scribes, and Manuscripts. The game is divided into two stages: a Donation stage where you acquire free cards, and an Auction stage where you purchase cards in auction rounds. The game requires strategic planning, some bluffing, and a little luck. Easy to learn, but challenging to master, Biblios offers a fun and engaging experience for 2 to 4 players. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, you can quickly dive into the world of medieval monasteries and start building your library. As you play, you'll need to adapt to changing category values and outmaneuver your opponents to emerge victorious.
