Description

In 13th century Italy, city-states are thriving but defenseless against invasion, and that's where you come in as a Condottiere, a mercenary leader. Your goal is to acquire four connected provinces in renaissance Italy by auctioning off different provinces on the board. You'll bid on these provinces with a hand of cards representing mercenaries, seasons, and political figures, but be warned, every player loses their bid, so you're essentially betting on how many troops you're willing to lose to win. This game of strategy and bluffing is easy to learn and plays out in 20 to 45 minutes with 2 to 6 players. With special effect cards shaking up the contests, you'll need to stay on your toes to outmaneuver your opponents and emerge victorious. As a classic game from 1995, Condottiere has stood the test of time, offering a unique and exciting experience for fans of medieval-themed games and negotiation.
