Description

In Kingsburg, you're a Lord tasked with administering a frontier territory, and your goal is to please the King by developing your territory and making smart decisions. The game takes place over five years, with each year divided into production seasons and a winter invasion. You'll collect resources and build structures by influencing the King's Council, where you'll place your dice to gain advantages. With many possible strategies to win, you can choose to focus on military might, economic growth, or prestige buildings like the Cathedral. You can also use special resources like the Merchant's Guild to gain more influence. The game is easy to learn, but offers depth and complexity, making it a fun challenge for 2 to 5 players. With a playtime of 90 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to explore different approaches and see what works best for you.
