Description

In The Voyages of Marco Polo, you'll embark on a thrilling journey along the Silk Road, just like the famous explorer. With 2 to 4 players, you'll take on the role of a historical character with unique powers, navigating the map from Venice to Beijing over five rounds. Each round, you'll roll your personal dice and use them to perform actions like collecting resources, acquiring contracts, or traveling to new cities. As you travel, you'll place trading posts in strategic locations, giving you access to extra actions and resources. The game requires strategic thinking, as the value of your dice determines the options available to you, but also comes with a cost if another player has already taken the same action. With a playtime of 40 to 100 minutes, The Voyages of Marco Polo offers a fun and challenging experience, with the goal of earning the most victory points by fulfilling contracts, establishing trading posts, and achieving secret goals.
