In Paperback Adventures, you're the star of your own pulp novel, navigating a world of wild characters and thrilling adventures. This solo-focused game is all about building your deck and using your words to defeat a series of AI enemies in a roguelike fashion. With a playtime of 50 to 150 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to get immersed in the action. Designed by Tim Fowers and Skye Larsen, the game has a normal level of complexity, making it easy for board game fans to learn. As you play, you'll use deck, bag, and pool building, hand management, and spelling to outwit your foes. With three playable characters to choose from, each with their own strengths and playstyles, you'll have plenty of opportunities to try new approaches. And if you want to team up with a friend, there are cooperative play variants available for two players.
