Description

Dectana is a game of strategy and skill, where 2 to 5 players compete to claim the most valuable territories on a modular board made up of cards. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, it's the perfect game for a quick gathering with friends or a fun family game night. The rules are straightforward, making it easy for anyone familiar with board games to jump right in and start playing. As you play, you'll need to manage your hand of cards carefully, using them to grow your army of pyramids and defend your territories against your opponents. As you navigate the abstract network of territories, you'll have the chance to invoke the powers of the board itself, using card powers from your hand or the board to manipulate your pyramid minions. With six suits to work with, you'll have plenty of opportunities to outmaneuver your opponents and come out on top. The game ends when one player collects and discards three Aces, triggering a final showdown to determine the winner. Designed by Ryan Hackel and first published in 2009, Dectana is a unique and engaging game that's sure to provide hours of entertainment for fans of card games and territory building.
