Description

In Umbrella, you'll orchestrate a mesmerizing dance of colorful umbrellas in a bustling street crossing, competing against up to three other players in a game that's easy to learn but challenging to master. With a playtime of just 30 minutes, this abstract strategy game is perfect for a quick puzzle fix. Designed by Benoit Turpin and Flavien Dauphin, Umbrella challenges you to create unicolor umbrella arrangements on your personal game board, using a clever mechanism of sliding and pushing umbrellas around. As you take turns, you'll need to think strategically about which umbrellas to move and when, trying to complete the arrangements shown on your figure tiles and earn scoring tokens. With a unique blend of grid movement, tile placement, and pattern building, Umbrella requires a combination of short-term tactics and long-term planning. The game ends when one player has no more figure tiles, has earned ten scoring tokens, or has taken the final token, and then it's time to tally up the points. With its simple rules and deep gameplay, Umbrella is a great choice for fans of puzzle games and abstract strategy, and its short playtime makes it easy to fit in a game or two, whether you're playing solo or with friends.
