Description
In Planet Unknown, players take on the challenge of developing a new home for humanity as our current planet runs out of resources. With 1-6 viable colonization options available, each player must strategically place polyomino-shaped tiles to build their planet's infrastructure, covering the grid efficiently while building up their planet's engine. Every tile placement is crucial, as it not only affects the planet's development but also triggers actions associated with the two infrastructure types on the tile. As players compete to develop the best planet, they must navigate the challenges of "meteors" that can hinder progress and prevent scoring points. With simultaneous yet strategic turn-based play, Planet Unknown offers a unique and engaging experience for 1-6 players. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of 60-80 minutes, this game is perfect for those who enjoy city building, puzzle-solving, and space exploration, making it a great addition to any game collection.
