Description
In Pelican Bay, you'll build an exotic island world from the ground up, adding water, beaches, and tropical forests with each turn. The game is easy to learn, making it accessible to players of all skill levels, and with 2 to 4 players able to join in, it's a great option for a fun night in with friends. As you place tiles, you'll enlarge areas and try to close them off to attract those coveted blue pelicans, all while navigating the modular board and using pattern building and tile placement to outmaneuver your opponents. With a playtime of just 40 to 50 minutes, Pelican Bay is a quick and engaging game that's perfect for a weeknight game session. Designed by Jacques Zeimet and first published in 2013, this abstract strategy game combines elements of territory building and animal-themed fun, making it a unique and exciting addition to any game collection.
