In 2019: The ARCTIC, 2 to 4 players take on the role of mineral resource companies vying for control of the Arctic region. This economic game has a military twist, where players aim to maximize their scores by undertaking actions that give them specific benefits or weaken their competitors. The key to success lies in shaping the internal and foreign policy of Arctic region countries, including Russia, Norway, and the USA, to secure investments and obtain subsidies. With no luck factor and strong negative interaction, players must strategically exert their influence through a range of political and economic actions. By dominating specific segments of the raw materials industry and controlling large quantities of deposits, players can gain a competitive edge.
