Description
In Sorcerer City, you and up to five friends take on the role of rival wizard architects, competing to build and rebuild the same city district over five years. The goal is to gain the most money, influence, magic, and victory points, all while mitigating the effects of marauding monsters that attack your city. With easy-to-learn rules, this 45 to 60 minute game is perfect for a fun and challenging evening with friends. Each round, you have two minutes to build your city as optimally as you can, using a set of tiles and managing your deck, bag, and pool of resources. After each round, you can buy new tiles and gain rewards, but beware - monsters will also be added to your deck, throwing a wrench into your plans. At the end of five rounds, the wizard architect with the most victory points will be crowned the new head wizard of Sorcerer City, designed by Scott Caputo and published in 2020.
