Description
In City Tycoon, you're a businessman investing in the expansion of a city, aiming to increase the standard of living and happiness of its citizens. You'll select plans, use available space, and decide which projects to fund, all while competing to be the most people-friendly company. The game board expands as you lay down tiles, each representing a district that may need electricity, water, or luxury goods to receive benefits. As you play, you'll need to plan carefully to manage resources, which can be bought from power stations and waterworks, but are not unlimited. You'll also need to pay opponents for transporting raw materials through their districts. With multiple strategies to develop your investments, you can focus on making money or constructing scoring buildings, each with its pros and cons. The game's complexity is normal, making it easy for board game fans to learn, and with 60 to 120 minutes of playtime, you'll have plenty of time to build your city and compete with friends.
