Description

Get ready to build your railroad empire in Railways of the World, a game of strategy and skill for 2 to 6 players. Designed by Martin Wallace, this game takes you back to the early days of the Age of Steam, where you'll start with a locomotive and a vision to connect cities and earn the most money. With a playtime of 120 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to develop your railroad network, build bigger and faster locomotives, and maybe even span North America. As you play, you'll experience a mix of action points, connections, and route building, all set on a hexagon grid. With moderate in-game text, you'll need to keep track of your progress, but the game's normal complexity makes it accessible to board game fans. First published in 2005, Railways of the World has become a classic, with multiple expansions available to take your gameplay to new territories.
