Description
In Friedrich, you'll be transported back to the summer of 1756, on the eve of the Seven Years War, where half of Europe has formed an alliance against Prussia. As one of 3 to 4 players, you'll take on the role of either Frederick the Great, struggling for survival, or one of the opposing powers seeking to defeat Prussia. The game is a delicate balance of courageous willpower, sudden inspiration, and stoic patience, where the clever use of tactical cards can be the deciding factor in winning. On a map of Old Europe, players maneuver their generals from city to city, with Frederick aiming to retain control of Prussian provinces, while the opposing powers seek to achieve their objectives. With a playtime of 210 minutes and normal complexity rules, Friedrich offers a challenging and engaging experience for board game enthusiasts, with a unique blend of card play, conflict resolution, and strategic decision making.
