Description

Kōhaku is a serene and strategic game where you build your own koi pond, tile by tile. With easy-to-learn rules, you can dive right in and start creating your peaceful oasis. Each turn, you'll draft tiles to place in your pond, aiming to surround flowers with matching colored koi, and position frogs and baby koi for maximum points. As you carefully plan your tile placement, consider the unique scoring rules for each feature, from butterflies' line of sight to turtles and statues bringing balance to your pond. With no restrictions on your pond's shape, you can build a one-of-a-kind layout to maximize your score. Playable in 30 to 45 minutes with 1 to 4 players, Kōhaku is a relaxing yet engaging experience that's perfect for a quick gaming session, and with its simple rules, it's easy to get started, whether you're playing solo or with friends.
