Description

Cascadia is a fun and puzzly game where you build your own terrain area and populate it with wildlife from the Pacific Northwest. You start with a few hexagonal habitat tiles and take turns adding new ones, each paired with a wildlife token, to create a thriving ecosystem. The goal is to create matching terrain that reduces fragmentation and creates wildlife corridors, which will score you points at the end of the game. As you play, you'll need to balance creating large areas of each habitat type with placing wildlife tokens to maximize your score. The wildlife goals are determined by random scoring cards, so you might need to separate some animals, group others, or surround them with a diverse range of species. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 30 to 45 minutes, Cascadia is a great game for 1 to 4 players looking for a fun and challenging experience.
