Description

Get ready to conquer the desert in Targui, a game of strategy and tactical movement for 2 to 4 players. The game takes place on a modular board made up of large square tiles, each representing different types of desert ground with varying economic and strategic value. Players start with a village tile on the outer edge of the board, some camels, and money, and take turns moving and buying camels to expand their control of the land. With simple mechanisms and a random turn order, Targui is a game of rapidly shifting alliances and broken promises. The goal is to control the most valuable land, not to accumulate the most money or camels. While it may take around 120 minutes to play, fans of Risk or light wargaming will find Targui to be an engaging and challenging experience, especially with 3 or 4 players.
