Description
The Great Zimbabwe is a game about building a trade-based civilization in ancient Africa, where players strive to build the most impressive monuments to one of twelve gods, each offering a unique blessing. To achieve this, players must develop a logistics network across the region, producing and obtaining ritual goods to raise their monuments and bring honor to their chosen god. This logistico-economic game requires players to make decisions on buying technology, building craftsmen, gathering resources, and worshipping their god. As a tribal leader in Africa, you'll need to balance subtle aspects of the game, such as economic development, god worship, and technology use, to score victory points. With only one action per turn, clever use of turn-order manipulation, resource management, and logistical optimization is crucial to deliver goods and build monuments. The game is a race for victory, where your decisions and those of other players will constantly change the dynamics, making for a highly playable and replayable experience.
