Description
American Bookshop is a fast-paced trick-taking game that's easy to learn and fun to play with 3 to 5 friends. The rules are simple, and you can start playing right away. The goal is to collect the right cards to earn points, but be careful not to take too many or you'll end up losing points instead. In this 30 to 50 minute game, players take turns playing cards, trying to win tricks and collect sets of cards in the same suit. The twist is that if the total value of cards played gets too high, the trick ends immediately, and the last player to play gets to take it. After each round, players choose which cards to keep and which to discard, trying to earn the most points by collecting the most cards in a single suit. With its quick gameplay and strategic depth, American Bookshop is a great choice for a fun game night.
