Description

Wise Guys is a cutthroat board game where 3 to 4 players take on the roles of rival gangs in a mafia-themed game of territory building and negotiation. With easy-to-learn rules, players dive into a world of wheeling, dealing, and backstabbing as they compete to control locations and accumulate wealth. Designed by Phil Yates and published in 2022, Wise Guys combines a range of mechanics, including action points, dice rolling, and worker placement, to create a thrilling experience. Over 90 minutes, players navigate a modular board, trading and negotiating with each other to gain the upper hand. With variable player powers and a unique setup each time, no two games are the same. As players vie for control, they must balance their ambitions with the need to avoid drawing unwanted attention. In the end, the gang with the most cash wins, but getting there will require a combination of strategic thinking and cunning negotiation.
