Description
Tapestry is a game where you create a civilization with a unique history, from the dawn of humanity to the future. Designed by Jamey Stegmaier, this 90 to 120 minute game for 1 to 5 players lets you forge your own path, different from real-world events or people. You start from scratch and advance on four tracks - science, technology, exploration, and military - to earn better benefits and improve your income. As you progress, you build your capital city, leverage your special abilities, and earn victory points. You also collect tapestry cards that tell the story of your civilization, making each game a distinct experience. With moderate in-game text, you'll need to refer to a crib sheet or paste-ups, but the normal complexity of the rules makes it easy for board game enthusiasts to learn and dive in.
