Description
In the fantasy board game Elixir, 2 to 4 players take on the role of wizards racing to create the magical Elixir of Life. This brew has the power to grant eternal life, and the first player to collect all three parts of the formula wins. The game is simple to learn, with easy-to-explain rules, and plays out over about 60 minutes. Players move around the board, visiting shops like Special Supplies, the Herbalist, and the Jeweller's to gather ingredients for their potions. As players experiment with different combinations of ingredients, they'll discover the secret formula and brew the three parts of the Elixir. But beware - the journey is not without danger, and mysterious strangers may attack or aid you along the way. With its pick-up and deliver, set collection mechanics, Elixir is a fun and engaging game designed by Nik Sewell, first published in 1987.
