Description

In Theomachy: The Ancients, you take on the role of a high god, leading a group of devoted followers into battle against other deities. Your goal is to annihilate your foes' believers and seize absolute power, using a combination of bluffing, psychology, and tactics. The game is quick to play, typically lasting around 45 minutes, and involves drafting cards into your personal deck to build your might. You'll ante up your followers and stake them against your foes' minions, using spells and powerful artifacts powered by a Constellation to send your followers into battles, build temples, and inflict terrible curses on the unfaithful. With four pantheons to choose from, including Greek, Babylonian, Egyptian, and Lovecraft's Outer Gods, you'll have access to a range of unique miracles and myth cards to aid you in your quest for dominance.
