Description

The Six of VIII is a trick-taking game that's all about strategy and teamwork, played out on a timeline that's as unpredictable as the reign of the six queens it's based on. With easy-to-learn rules, 3 to 4 players can dive into a game that's as short as 15 minutes or as long as 60, depending on how intense the competition gets. Each queen has her own suit, which becomes trump during her reign, and players must work together to capture tricks containing crucial courtiers and score the most points. As players sit across from their partner and pass cards face down to begin, the game heats up with must-follow tricks and points to be won. With the addition of advanced variant cards like the King and Spies, the game takes on a whole new level of complexity and intrigue. The King card is the highest trump, while the zero cards, or Spies, can undermine the rival side and even reveal themselves as a game-changer in the 13th suit. And just when you think you've got it all figured out, The Church of England can annul a trick and turn the tables, giving the team with fewer points a second chance.
