Le Truc is a classic card game that's been around since the 15th century, originating from France and Spain. This game is all about strategy and skill, as players try to outmaneuver each other through betting, bluffing, and trick-taking. With easy-to-learn rules, Le Truc is accessible to players of all levels, and its short 20-minute playtime makes it perfect for a quick game night with friends. Played with 2 to 4 players, either individually or in teams of two, the game is won by the first side to take two rounds of 12 points. The gameplay is simple yet engaging, with each player dealt three cards from a French 32-card deck. The active player can propose a raise in stakes before answering each trick, adding an element of excitement and risk to the game. The goal is to win the majority of tricks or make your opponents fold to a raise, with only the ranks of cards mattering, not the suits.
