Description

Finis Terrae is a game of exploration, commerce, and piracy where players navigate a unique game map that's different every time, simulating the thrill of discovering an unknown world. As players sail through the seas, they'll encounter castaways to save, treasures to recover, and spices to trade, all while founding new merchant ports and dealing with the challenges of bad weather and pirate encounters. With its modular board, each game is a new adventure, and players must adapt their strategies to the emerging map and changing circumstances. As players take turns, they'll go through four phases: cartography, preparation, navigation, and end of the day, each with its own opportunities and challenges. They'll place tiles to reveal new parts of the map, manage resources and trade, and make tactical decisions about where to sail and what to do. With the ability to engage in piracy and plunder other players, the game adds a delicious layer of unpredictability and social interaction.
