Description

Iglu Iglu is a fun and strategic board game where 2 to 4 players take on the role of Inuit hunters, competing to score points by catching fish and building igloos on a modular board. The game starts with a field of ice, with just a few squares cracked open to reveal the treasures beneath. As players take their turns, they get to pick up a new square of ice, which might contain fish, a polar bear, or even a special power that gives them an edge. The rules are easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, and with a playtime of 60 minutes, it's a great option for a casual game night. As the game progresses, players must use their action points wisely to move their Inuit meeples around the board, hunting for fish and building igloos to gain control of the remaining islands. The game ends when all the ice has been melted, and the player with the most control over the islands scores the most points. With its unique blend of tile placement, area majority, and action points, Iglu Iglu requires a combination of luck and cleverness to win. Designed by Bruno Cathala, Bruno Faidutti, and Guido Hoffmann, and first published in 2004, Iglu Iglu is a classic game that remains engaging and entertaining to this day, offering a fun and challenging experience for players of all skill levels.
