Description

In Barons, you'll create a thriving medieval barony by claiming territory and building structures, all while navigating the watchful eyes of the king and pope. With easy-to-learn rules, 2 to 6 players can join in on the fun, competing to establish the realm's first cathedral in about 60 minutes. The game uses a unique card system, with four different decks representing mines, rivers, forests, and pastures, each containing actions, buildings, and knights. As you play, you'll gather resources, build your barony, and acquire powerful knights to protect your realm. The cards are versatile, serving as actions, buildings, or even currency. Your goal is to build a Church and then a Cathedral, ending the game in triumph.
