Description
Tahuantinsuyu is a game of empire building and exploration, where 3 to 4 players take on the role of Apus, leaders of the four regions of the Inca empire. Your goal is to increase your status in the eyes of the Sapa Inca by expanding and improving the empire, building roads, conquering neighboring regions, and constructing improvements like terraces, garrisons, cities, and temples. As you play, you'll manage your resources and manpower to connect your road systems to all of the improvements throughout the empire, earning rewards for each new region added and improvement made. With a playtime of 180 minutes, Tahuantinsuyu is a game that requires strategy and planning, but is still accessible to those familiar with board games, thanks to its normal complexity rules. Designed by Alan D. Ernstein and first published in 2004, this game is a classic civilization-building experience that's sure to challenge and engage players.
