The supernatural is lurking in every shadow, waiting to pounce on unsuspecting victims. In Maximum Apocalypse: Gothic Horrors 2nd Edition, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure with 1 to 5 players, navigating the dark world of vampires, cultists, and other terrifying creatures. With a playtime of 45 to 90 minutes, you'll have just enough time to scrounge together supplies and try to survive the night without losing your mind. The game rules are simple and easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, but don't be fooled - the challenges you'll face are very real. As you delve into the world of Gothic Horrors, you'll encounter six apocalyptic scenarios, each with its own unique gameplay mechanisms and terrors. From facing off against life-draining vampires to stopping cultists from summoning unspeakable Lovecraftian horrors, every scenario presents a new challenge. You'll play as one of five survivor characters, each with their own unique abilities and equipment cards, and work together to overcome the horrors that await you. With the Insanity deck of phobias and the night/day event deck, every game will be a thrilling and unpredictable experience. Will you be able to survive the night and overcome the supernatural forces that seek to destroy you, or will you succumb to the darkness? There's only one way to find out.
