Description
Magna Grecia is a game of territory building and strategy, set in ancient southern Italy. Players take on the role of Greek merchants and adventurers, settling and developing the region over 12 rounds. The game is played on a hexagon grid, where players build roads, cities, and markets, and compete to control the Oracle, a key source of fame and wealth. As players build and expand their networks, they must balance the costs of constructing their own cities with the potential benefits of building in neutral villages or their opponents' cities. The game ends when the markets and Oracle are fully developed, and the player who has most successfully settled and developed Magna Grecia is declared the winner. With its unique blend of investment, network building, and tile placement mechanics, Magna Grecia offers a fun and challenging experience for 2 to 4 players, lasting around 75 minutes.
