Description
London Dread is a cooperative game set in Victorian England where 2 to 4 players take on the role of investigators trying to uncover plots and confront a story-specific finale. The game is gritty and thematic, featuring dark events and storylines with a hint of the supernatural, such as a caped killer on the streets of London. Players work together to stay a step ahead on the mean streets of the city, using their unique investigator strengths and planning effectively. In this 60 to 90 minute game, players participate in timed planning phases and untimed story phases, working together to overcome obstacles and plots. With normal complexity rules, familiar board game players can easily learn and dive into the game. Designed by Asger Johansen and published in 2016, London Dread offers a tense and truly cooperative experience, requiring communication, planning, and teamwork to succeed.
