In Fafnir, a quick and easy-to-learn game for 2 to 4 players, you'll be competing to collect the most valuable gems. The game is simple to pick up, and with a playtime of just 20 minutes, you can dive in and out of a game in no time. The goal is to acquire the two new gems laid by the chicken Fafnir each day, but there's a catch - you can't throw away the colors of gems that Fafnir just laid. As you collect gems, you'll be trying to gather the most valuable ones, with gold being a safe bet at 1 point each. The colored gems are where things get interesting, with the most frequent color being worth 3 points each and the second most frequent worth 2 points each. But be careful, because any other colors will actually lose you points. With its unique auction mechanics and fast-paced gameplay, Fafnir is a fun and engaging game that's perfect for a quick gaming session.
