Description

Iyados is a trick-taking game that's all about strategy and a little bit of mischief. Players start by placing an "Insert" card in their hand, which divides their cards into two groups: "normal" cards that can be used to lead or follow suit, and "refuse" cards that can only be played when a player chooses not to follow suit. The twist is that the number of "refuse" cards a player chooses also becomes their bid, adding an extra layer of complexity to the game. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 30 minutes, Iyados is a great game for 3 to 5 players looking for a fun and challenging experience. Players are eliminated from the round if they can't play a "normal" card when needed, and points are awarded based on how many players were eliminated and how close each player came to hitting their bid. The player with the most points after a number of rounds equal to the number of players wins the game.
