Description

Nature of the Beast: Farm vs. Forest is a strategic and engaging board game where 2 to 4 players compete to gain control of their entire field. Designed by Mark Anticole and Matthew Anticole, this game has been a favorite since its release in 2005. With a playtime of 60 minutes and normal complexity, it's easy for board game enthusiasts to learn and dive into. The game is all about recruiting animals, promoting leaders, and strategically controlling your playing field, making it a fun and challenging experience for players of all skill levels. As you play, you'll need to keep track of your Favor and Fury tallies, which indicate your influence with humanity and the threat you pose to them. Attacking your opponents will gain you Fury, which can be a double-edged sword - it can give you access to powerful Dark Nature cards, but too much of it can eliminate you from the game. The game comes with two 70-card faction decks, Farm and Forest, each with its unique strengths and weaknesses. Farm animals are well-balanced and can take advantage of Dark Nature cards, while Forest animals are fierce fighters with little interaction with humanity. With its unique blend of area majority, grid movement, and take-that mechanics, Nature of the Beast: Farm vs. Forest is a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat, competing to be the first to gain control of your entire field.
