Description
Indigo is a simple yet strategic board game where 2 to 4 players build paths and move butterflies around the board. Designed by Reiner Knizia and first released in 2012, the game is easy to learn and can be explained quickly, making it accessible to players of all skill levels. The goal is to move butterflies from their starting locations to your designated flowerbeds, scoring points for each one you collect. Players take turns placing path tiles to create routes for the butterflies to follow, trying to outmaneuver each other to get the most valuable butterflies to their flowerbeds. With no player owning the individual paths, everyone must exploit the existing routes to their advantage. The game ends when all the butterflies have been claimed, and the player with the most points wins, earning 3 points for a purple butterfly, 2 for a pink butterfly, and 1 for a blue butterfly.
