Description
In NewSpeak, a game of dystopian subversion, 3 to 6 players take on the roles of dissidents or moderators in a battle of wits. The dissidents aim to challenge the status quo by coordinating secret meetings at various locations, using underground codes to stay one step ahead. The moderators, on the other hand, must use their skills of deduction to infer the dissidents' plans and direct a state raiding party to catch them in the act. As the game unfolds, the dissidents try to "hack" as many locations as possible, while the moderators strike back with surveillance outposts to limit their movement. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of just 30 to 60 minutes, NewSpeak is a tense and thrilling game of bluffing, deduction, and strategy. Players must use their skills of deception and cunning to outmaneuver their opponents and emerge victorious in this mind-bending battle of wits.
