Description

Onstage is a fast-paced and engaging trick-taking game where you compete against 2 to 4 other players to build the best theater troupe. As a player, you'll take on the role of a theater company, vying for the top performers to join your team. The game is easy to learn, making it accessible to new players, and with a playtime of just 15 to 30 minutes, you can fit in a game or two even on the busiest of nights. Designed by Michael Orion and released in 2024, Onstage brings a fresh twist to the classic trick-taking genre. The game is all about strategy and clever manipulation of the performers onstage. The trump suit is determined by the most valuable performers currently onstage, and this can change throughout the game as you recruit and manipulate the line of performers. With 36 cards in the deck, each with its own unique abilities and point values, you'll need to stay on your toes to outmaneuver your opponents. Whether you're playing solo or teaming up with a partner, the goal is the same: accumulate the most points by claiming the best performers and outscoring your opponents. With its simple rules and quick gameplay, Onstage is the perfect addition to any game night, offering a fun and challenging experience for 3 to 5 players.
