In Age of Discovery, you'll embark on a thrilling adventure through the 15th and 16th centuries, where the great royal houses of Europe are sending explorers and conquerors on voyages of discovery. As a private entrepreneur, you'll have the opportunity to invest in these expeditions, financing the journeys of famous explorers like Columbus and Magellan. To succeed, you'll need to purchase a fleet of ships and cleverly assign them to the most successful expeditions, all while managing your finances to maximize your earnings. With easy-to-learn rules, Age of Discovery is a game that's accessible to everyone, and its 45-minute playtime makes it perfect for a fun night in with friends or family. For 2 to 4 players, the game is all about balancing the needs of trade with the demands of the great explorers, using hand management and card drafting mechanics to outmaneuver your opponents.
