The game takes place on a grid, where players place their cow chits and try to achieve Cow Lock, a strategic formation of two identically-colored cows, or avoid the dreaded Bovine Doom Block, a square of four cows. As players move their alien chit around the board, they can choose to tip cows, collecting any that get knocked over. The game is won by the player who tallies the most points, calculated by subtracting the number of their own cows from the total number of remaining cows.
