Description
In The Island of El Dorado, you'll embark on an adventure to explore a mysterious island, seeking to control four ancient shrines. As the leader of a civilization, you'll discover new resources, bodies of water, and shrines in a unique landscape that changes with each play. You'll build farmhouses, create villagers, and gather resources to grow your economy, all while defending your territory against other explorers. As you navigate the island, you'll need to strategically occupy locations and build forts to protect your interests. Legend has it that the most powerful shrine lies hidden in a cave, but beware - the cave is treacherous. The first player to control all four shrines will win the game, ruling over the island and reaping the rewards of their exploration and cunning. With its modular board and mix of action queue, dice rolling, and worker placement mechanics, The Island of El Dorado offers a thrilling experience for 2 to 4 players.
