Description
Ars Victor is a fast-paced and tense two-player board game of tactical combat set in a science fiction world. Players command futuristic fighting forces, recruiting armies and scouting out unique maps to outmaneuver their opponent. With a hand of Command Cards and a modular board, each game is a thrilling experience. The goal is to reduce the enemy's Glory to zero before they do the same, creating a back-and-forth race to the bottom. Players take turns playing Command Cards to activate units, moving them across the battlefield to slaughter the enemy and hold onto key Capture Points. Combat is resolved with a single roll of colored dice, with terrain and unit Special Abilities affecting the outcome. Simple icons on the dice show the results, making it easy to learn and play. With its easy-to-learn rules and 60-minute playtime, Ars Victor is a great choice for fans of science fiction and wargames looking for a fun and intense gaming experience.
