Description
In the early Roman empire, the citizens are in dire need of a crucial part of life: drinking water. That's where you come in, as an experienced architect tasked with building the monumental Roman water system, the aqueducts. It's not an easy feat, as you'll need to oversee multiple building sites at once, making tough decisions about which water pipes to prioritize. In Aqua Romana, you'll compete against 1 to 3 other players to build the longest aqueducts and earn the most fame. The game is easy to learn, and a typical playthrough takes around 45 to 60 minutes. By strategically placing tiles and moving your workers and architects, you'll aim to close aqueducts and score points. The longer the aqueduct, the more points you'll earn, with bonus points for crossing tiles multiple times. The player with the most points at the end wins, so plan ahead and get ready to make your mark on ancient Rome.
